Re: Does Chaplin's comedy still work?

Thank you Tommy, for posting this.

It does my heart good to see that great art truly is timeless.

I found it very inspirational.

Richard,

As always, thanks.

Yes, I know just about any project mentioned on this site is a labor of love, and I appreciate that!

Re: New Buster Keaton talkie book from Bear Manor in 2015

Hello Mafiosi:

What happened to this book?
It's not on the Bear Manor Media website.
Was it ever released? Or is it just out of print?

Re: Buster Keaton interviewed in costume for FORUM - 1965

When it comes to ending an interview, Buster was a real pro - and why not? He'd been dealing with the press since he was a child.

Hal Roach All Stars - "A Pair Of Tights" on DVD?

Hello:

Just saw "When Comedy Was King" for the first time on VHS (go ahead and make fun if you like.) I wanted to know if this short was ever released on DVD, possibly as part of some anthology. Any help?

Thanks,
Chris

Wow! I really enjoyed that. The shot at the end with the collapsible car is amazing! Thanks for the link.
