Re: Does it ever end?

Unfortunately, the database of who appeared in episodes which aren't out on DVD are pretty scarce, so anyone have any prints or know of a database or where documents might be held, which might give information? Louie, Richard Bann has mentioned that he acquired dozens of Bob Cummings' personal 16mm...

Did Eddie Dunn appear in every movie in the 30's? Seems like it.

Re: Nitrateville Nitwittery: WHEN COMEDY WAS KING

Not to belabor the point, but as soon as Ron Hutchinson announced a new DVD set of incredibly rare 1928-29 Vitaphone shorts, someone pipes up complaining that they didn't include Keystone Hotel. Re: Richard Schickel

Too many "critics" go before the film with knives poised, daring it to entertain them, to make them laugh, etc., or their heads are filled (if they are filled with anything) with too many pre-conceived notions and expectations, which is why when I read something like "how can Buster ...

Re: THE OLD WALLOP (1927) Our Gang

Yeah, I posted "Snappy Sneezer" knowing it was going to get pulled but for fans who wanted to see it I let them know. Then again, we'll never see any Chase DVD/blu release from the likes of Dick Bann & Co., just his precious 16mm prints that only he has. Oh well.

Re: JAPANESE BOWL (1930) vitaphone short
