Re: watch "His Musical Sneeze" - now online at DFI site
Thank you, Ben, for bringing this to our attention. I've been looking forward to seeing this film ever since it was discovered and identified several years back. The rabbit and skunk I can accept, but where the hell did the lion come from? Never mind; it's a Lehrman/Jack White film. SQUEEEEEEE!! Vi...

Tom Reeder's article on Henry Lehrman in The Galitzianer
I'm not sure why Tom Reeder is being so modest, but I'll flack for him. Tom has just had a remarkably good article on Henry Lehrman published in The Galitzianer, the journal of the Galitzian Jewish Genealogical Society. I don't know if issues of The Galitzianer are available for individual purchase,...

So the deal didn't fall through after all. Do we know if Johnny Dooley made any other comedies in this series?
Thanks!

Johnny Dooley Comedies
We have a news clipping that tangentially discusses Johnny Dooley Comedies. "Several enthusiastic capitalists and clothing merchants had organized the Johnny Dooley Comedies, to run a series of pictures featuring the comedian. One of them was called 'Hearts and Arts." Supposedly this ventu...

Fred Balshofer, by Larry Semon
I found this clipping last night in Fred Balshofer's scrapbooks at the Margaret Herrick Library. I can't read the date on my copy, but as I recall it's from mid-1916. It is very cool.
