Could A New Lloyd Hamilton DVD be in the works?

Here's an interesting rumor: https://thelostlaugh.com/ DVD releases are waning greatly (all genres) so I don't see this happening. DVD replication companies require a 1,000 disc minimum order. A Langdon set only sold 200 copies, Ham would sell even less. I hope I am wrong. Good to see another Ham tu...

Re: Chaplin impersonators

On a side note, in EVERETT TRUE BREAKS INTO THE MOVIES (1916), there is a Chaplin impersonator as well; never a part of the story, this non-identified fellow is in three scenes (first in line outside the office, first in line inside the office, and then in the middle of the crowd in the office). Ve...

Re: FINGER PRINTS (1923) James Parrott

Could someone please tell me who the man is in this with the note? He's in many Roach comedies of this era but I haven't been nail down his name.

Re: THE SCRUB LADY (1917) Marie Dressler

This was the first time I could view a Dressler Goldwyn. It was much better than I expected in fact I enjoy her in this film more than I do in TILLIE's PUNCTURED ROMANCE.

Re: Stan's brother Ted

How about this guy in the straw hat to the left of Baldy Belmont? This is from Monty Banks DERBY DAY (1922). Ted appeared in Banks' SQUIRREL FOOD of the same year.

Re: Three of a Kind

The man who gets the bill and passes out looks like Fred deSilva (Lancaster). Harry Sweet directed this and it has a different feel than other Ton O' Funs. I have seen some of the others in Universal films. I have seen the Maitre 'd in an untitled Buster Brown. If that actor had worked for Fox perha...

Charley transgenders in the film CHASING HUSBANDS (1928). The stills are hard to look at.

What The Heck Is This All About?

I found this image on a stock photo site and of course the code has been cropped. I see Chet Brandenburg, Martha Sleeper, and George Stevens. Does anyone know which film this is from and who the others are? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/Tommie61/0001smokeshutterstock_92416942.jpg

Re: Cinevent Notes: THE TOMBOY (1924) Dorothy Devore

Some scripts of some of Dorothy's Christie two reelers were found under Dorothy's bed in the facility where she died. These can be viewed at the Library of Congress. They bear initials of Christie and other Christie personnel. I have seen about a half dozen Wanda Wiley Universal shorts and I get the...
