THE NAUGHTY TWENTIES - Sennett footage

After TCM's broadcast of MODERN TIMES a few day ago they ran a couple of shorts. Re: A Roach-a-thon on You Tube

These were fun to watch. I have three VHS tapes of LAUGH-A-BITS (titled LAUGH-A-MINUTE on the box). All the ones I have seen are color tinted, but these are black and white on your You Tube channel.

Thanks for posting them.

Re: Nitrateville Correction Dept: Grapevines New Releases

All the poster had to do was email Grapevine Video and ask them what the original film prints used for the DVD transfer was before posting. Grapevine is very good at answering questions about their DVD offerings and always respond.

Pardon me, there where no titles. Ok then ...... this is the second early Jimmy Aubrey I've seen apart from his later Weiss Brothers and really enjoy his comedy gags.

Re: "What Price Taxi" question

Ben Blue hops and twitches around as if something's nibbling on his bum. Billy Gilbert and Clyde Cook are real funny in these. too bad Cook didn't do more. Wonder if Del Lord was one of the first directors from the silent era to re-introduce under cranking in sound comedies for comic effect. I don't...

Re: "What Price Taxi" question

Really enjoy those Taxi Boy's comedies. WHAT PRICE TAXI? being one of my favorites. Del Lord did a great job on these, bringing his cartoony, surrealistic comic world in them.

Re: SMILEAGE GUARANTEED HAL ROACH BOOK ON SALE NOW!

Hello Richard and thank you for the nice welcome.
Yeah, I'm in the LA area and walk to Edmunds once in a while for books and 8x10 stills.
If you do a book signing at Larry Edmunds keep us posted, I'd enjoy going to that.
