The irony is that several archives have been working to restore the sound version of HIGH TREASON for a number of years, and what bits of it I had seen foretold it to be an early-talkie stinker, but the silent version has been around a long time and is a much better film, stylish, fluid, and Benita ...

So we come home from the Bill "Wallace" Thompson Memorial Service last night to find out that Robin Williams has killed himself.

Not one of the better days, the few intentionally funny people left seem to be leaving the planet.
