OK I am so bummed that I can't go to Slapsticon this year (the wife and I are really feeling the economy..ugh) so I'll just sit home and dream of the cool rare films, but before y'all go - who are we seeing in these fotos?

I just noticed that Slapsticon and the SF silent film festival are on the exact same dates this year, which cancels me out... I'm very disappointed I am going to miss another one, since money is tight I was already going to have to come alone but since my wife already booked our SF hotel, etc I'm lo...

OK, so I don't show up for months and then when I do I am asking the following: I am trying to think of a silent comedy with penguins in it...I feel like I remember one that has the comedian walking around and he is being followed by a penguin........ Yes the later date makes more sense, the 1920 date was on the film can when I rec'd it, but would make sense at 1927 for the others in the series and especially the looks of everyone in the film .
