Re: The Book Of Shemp
I got my copy on Sunday, and I'm about a third of the way through. I'm glad Shemp finally got a book. From what I've read thus far, he seemed to be someone well worth knowing. It's a very detailed look at a remarkable career. Shemp Howard was a great comic, and I recommend this book.

Re: Coming From the Sprocket Vault..............
All I feel qualified to comment, aside from my previous thanks, is this: I'll buy it when it's announced, and I'll leave a nice review on Amazon (or whatever shopping outlet will have it). And if I may be so bold, that's advice worth heeding by anyone who wants to start a gripefest.

Re: CAMPING (1917) Victor Moore
Very entertaining snippet. For a stage comedian, and one whose most memorable films were in the sound era, he made some funny silent comedies.

Richard, that was the best laugh I've had today, except for some Ben Turpin Blackhawk Films being delivered later.

Re: Nitrateville Comment Dept: Laurel and Hardy Year One
Oh, bushwa! For corn's sake (as Gildersleeve's nephew Leroy would say), buy what's available when it comes out. Your Charley Chase set, for example. The fact that EVERYTHING wasn't available all at once didn't stop me from buying volume one when it dropped. If people have this attitude, what incenti...
