Yep, bad AI is rampant.
I'm waiting to see the Charlie Chaplin bio that has a picture of Billy West on the cover.

THE SLEEPING PORCH (1929) Raymond Griffith
Here's one of Raymond Griffith's two talkie comedies he made for Al Christie in 1929. Ray's damaged vocal chords in obvious evidence here as he plays a man with a cold. The 16mm prints that got out (of which this one has a poor transfer with Ralph Celentanos initials plastered annoyingly over the up...

THE BALIFFS (1932) Flanagan and Allen
Fred Karno wrote the script for this short, which was Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen's film debut. Watch for Fred walking in front of them in the opening scene:

Re: Snub Pollard A Drug Addict?!
Yeah, this is bullshit. Snub was the Secretary of the Screen Extras Guild through much of the 1950's, after being active in it for more than a decade before that, one of the reasons why he was one of the busiest bit players around. And I don't know what "wife" they are referring to, he was...

IDLE ROOMERS (1931) Molino Brothers
Another Educational Cameo Comedy missing a minute or so from it's LOC print (I've got a complete one we showed at Slapsticon in 2013). Directed by Roscoe Arbuckle and released November 29, 1931, it features the Molino Brothers (Frank and Alfred), Fern Emmett (oddly billed as the star in the redone A...

SO THIS IS HOLLYWOOD: A FRIEND IN NEED (1955) Victor Moore, MItzi Green
Here's an episode on an interesting TV sitcom from 1955 that was another one of Richard L. Bare's early forays into television, with a script by Edward Beloin, George O'Hanlon and Dean Riesner, and an interesting supporting cast including stars Virginia Gibson, MItzi Green as an adult (much more int...

Re: HARVEY with Art Carney (1958)
Fred Gwynne repeated the role of the cab driver in the 1972 HALLMARK HALL OF FAME version with Jimmy Stewart and Helen Hayes, he must have liked the part, it is a good one, one good scene at the end and a terrific speech to boot.
