Rob Zombie on loving any and all silent films

There's a very nice piece at the AV Club today in which Rob Zombie rather touchingly explains his love of silent films. I thought y'all would get a kick out of it:

(I ought to mention that I owe my weekly blog at TCM's Movie Morlocks, indirectly, to Mr. Zombie. I was brought onto TCM back in 2006 or so as part of the stable of writers providing support for Zombie's hosting of TCM Underground. Eventually he moved on, and TCM Underground continued without him. And over time I drifted away from writing liner notes for midnight screenings of cult movies to getting a weekly platform for my own love of old movies. So hats off to ya, Zombie)
