Armistice Day: JOURNEY'S END (1930)

Postby Richard M Roberts » Sun Nov 11, 2018 10:12 pm

Today is the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I, what is still probably the war that changed the World and the Twentieth Century more than all other wars, and one started for the strangest and silliest of reasons.

To commemorate, here's James Whale's first feature film and the British take on the Great War, R. C. Sheriff's JOURNEY'S END (1930), remade, but never topped and hard to see:

and it even fits on the mafia because Billy Bevan gas a great supporting role in it.

Happy Armistice Day.
