You gotta love it when the nitwits at Nitwitvile are haranguing the inaccuracies in an ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY story while spreading more on their own:

We've knocked on this nameless idiot Bigsnot before about his lack of knowledge on how DVD's and Blu-rays were made and sold, now he proves he knows just as little about film and entertainment history. Cliff Edwards had a definite drinking problem, and died pretty much broke, but he was not struggling in the 40's and 50's, he worked as a busy character actor in films until 1943, and he continued to work in radio and later early television all through the 40's and early 50's, and he continued to perform in local LA night clubs all through that time. Returning to Disney certainly helped him financially, but he was far from destitute, living the life of a lot of musicians.

And Dickie Jones did just fine thanks after PINOCCHIO thanks, busy kid actor through the 40's, busy young actor and trick-rider all through the 50's doing shows like THE RANGE RIDER and BUFFALO BILL JR. for Gene Autry, retired and made a good living in business and real estate, seemed a friendly and sober gentleman when he appeared at Western nostalgia shows, living to a ripe old age of 87 when he passed away in 2014 after a happy marriage that lasted more than 60 years. Bigsnot's right about one thing when he says, " I don't know as much about him though.", he doesn't know much about anything, yet this slows him down not one whit from slandering dead people.

More of that high-quality film expertise one has come to expect from Nitwitville.

Hey, someone's come on and slapped Bigsnot around not only for the Dickie Jones crap, but the Walt Disney crap as well. This might actually get interesting if Gebert and the other Nitwitvile thought-police don't come in and cleanse the thread. We'll see.

Anyone who wants to shut down the "Ub Iwerks was the true genius behind Walt Disney" crap only needs to compare a Flip the Frog cartoon with a Mickey Mouse cartoon, `nuff said".
