We're all familiar with Hart's farewell to the screen in the talking prologue to Tumbleweeds' 1938 re-release. But here are some humorous outtakes from a similar talkie short that Hart made in 1930 to promote his autobiography. Fritz refuses to cooperate and botches the scene. ... 218544357/

And as an added bonus, here is Hart reciting his own poetic composition, "Pinto Ben", on The Fleischmann Hour starring Rudy Vallee on NBC in a December 13, 1934 broadcast.
