Max Davidson in The Great Commandment (1939)
It’s not often that we link to an independently-made Christian film on this forum. That is, unless the great Max Davidson is in the cast in his final credited speaking role. He can be seen around 16:05 as an “Old Man” inquiring about the appearance of a Messiah. One can only imagine his thoughts about appearing in a Catholic faith film, but I’m sure he called upon the actor’s credo that work-is-work and a paying gig is even better. https://youtu.be/SyhTpDLEeBk
