June Foray RIP

No one lives forever -- except, perhaps, Shirley MacLaine. This is where we ring down the final curtain for Filmdom's finest.

June Foray RIP

How sad, but a very full life, here's Leonard Maltin's memorial:

I actually had the pleasure of meeting her several times over the years in Los Angeles, the meeting I treasure most was after one of my presentations at Cinecon in 2000, she came up to me and told me how much she had enjoyed it, she had done an presentation before my show and had stayed because she wanted to see the Edward Everett Horton comedy I was showing, she and he had been great friends and had worked on FRACTURED FAIRY TALES together. After that, she would always say hello and chat for a bit whenever I ran into her. A nice, talented, and lovely woman who may have been a hundred, certainly 99, when she passed (she was rather vague about her age), but certainly seemed decades younger. Rest in Peace June.
