Howell and Hamilton on view

The Danish Film Institute has posted two silent American comedies. The first is the first reel of the 11/1/1917 Century comedy NEPTUNE'S NAUGHTY DAUGHTER with Alice Howell, Robert McKenzie, Eva McKenzie and Joe Moore. The link is:

The other short is the 8/10/1915 Kalem Ham and Bud THE WINNING WASH with Ham, Bud, Ethel Teare, J. Clifford, H. Griffith, directed by Rube Miller:

Since they're in a Chinese laundry it could be some kind of opium cigarette. That's the usual movie stereotype of the time.
