Film archivist Serge Bromberg's print of the The Blacksmith will be played at this year's Damfino Convention -- a print that contains over seven minutes of previously unknown material. Originally discovered last year by Argentine film historian Fernando Peña in 9mm form, followed soon after by Bromberg's discovery of a 35mm pristine copy of the same material in Paris. The showing in Muskegon will be only the third of the complete Bromberg print in North America of a Keaton film not seen in some 90 years! This film is a private showing only for those attending the convention.
