In case some of you have never seen this, it's actually two episodes of SCREEN SNAPSHOTS spliced together, but there is some incredibly rare footage of a lot of our favorite comics, silent and sound:

Any ideas concerning that opening clip of Arbuckle and Murray -- some kind of behind the scenes newsreel clip?

Most likely taken right out of an earlier edition of SCREEN SNAPSHOTS, which one can say for all of the footage.

Arbuckle performs a funny pantomime gag on the spot pulling out Murray's mustache hairs, his mouth clearly moving to "She loves me, she loves me not..."

Indeed, this is a short clip from Screen Snapshots (1921) with Sessue Hayakawa, Arbuckle, and Murray. The complete segment exists in 35mm and will be on the Arbuckle Anthology.
