I regularly get emails via the website from folks who have just discovered the Slapsticon. Usually they are asking to be put on the mailing list or want to know when the next one will be. But I got a note last week from someone who, apparently without irony, repeatedly called it "The Spasticon".

I'm sure it was an innocent mistake.

Right?...Right?

Actually I have a friend who hasn't gone (and is more of a casual fan of old movies) who has called it that as well, intentionally as a joke though, so I think that may be an easy word switch to make.
