Cast credits for this Ton of Fun short are difficult to find, so I'm turning to Those Who Know All About Silent Comedy.

Specifically, who played these roles in Three of a Kind?

1) The maitre d'. with bad teeth; he buys all the cigarettes from Lois Boyd.
2) The bouncer, who weeps when the stingy uncle is cutting onions. This guy appeared in a lot of silent films but I can't come up with the name.
3) The bald, mustachioed customer who leads the customers in the big fight.
4) The poor shlub who was the original "refined entertainer" singing "love me and the world is mine", and who ends up being carted out of the restaurant on a stretcher, still trying to sing.

Hi Jim!

The only guy I know, of the four you question, is number three: BILLY FRANEY.

The other three guys may get billing in other films, but I don't know them.

Steve Massa might if he's seen the film. Or just post some frame grabs if you can.

The man who gets the bill and passes out looks like Fred deSilva (Lancaster).

Harry Sweet directed this and it has a different feel than other Ton O' Funs.

I have seen some of the others in Universal films. I have seen the Maitre 'd in an untitled Buster Brown. If that actor had worked for Fox perhaps he could have afforded a dentist.

Yes, that's Billy Franey, thanks for pointing it out. He must have been wearing a rug or a hat in all the other films in which I've seen him, as I don't recall him being that bald before.
