Ivan G. Shreve Jr. has some very nice things to say about the Sprocket Vault's DVD release of WHEN COMEDY WAS KING:

Though I have to correct Ivan on one point, I'm not joking when I say there is more truth about human nature said in Laurel and Hardy's BIG BUSINESS than in all of INTOLERANCE or every frame of film Carl Dreyer ever shot. I'm dead serious.
