Nitrateville Nitwittery:Harry Langdon's Cameo in WASHEE IRONEE

Postby Richard M Roberts » Tue Feb 21, 2017 3:23 am

The level of expertise at Nitratevile continues to fall as another nameless nitwit thinks he's found Harry Langdon doing extra work in the 1934 Our Gang short WASHEE IRONEE:

Ahm......no, sorry, here's the short up on Youtube, go to the shot around 15:29:

The guy on the far left doesn't look anything like Harry Langdon, way bulkier, looks more like Dick Gilbert, and the hat is nothing like the standard Langdon hat.

And I wouldn't be surprised if same said nitwit manages to convince the imd(um)b to put Langdon up in the film's credits, that site has also dropped way southward even in relations to even it's former low standards for credibility and accuracy. Did you know Max Davidson and Stymie Beard are in Mary Pickford's MY BEST GIRL? the imd(um)b says so, and it ain't so either.

Slow week, isn't it?

It seems like the "nameless one" "Uncle Claude" or whoever it is ,sees a character in a film and thinks it is Harry Langdon, when it obviously is not. This character is obviously hallucinating. Hopefully someone at IMDb spots the error
