Stuntman Harvey Parry

Postby Thomas Reeder » Tue Feb 21, 2017 7:38 pm

I'm looking at an 07/02/1983 article from TV Guide titled "In 1919, he walked off a four-story building" by Frank Bies about stuntman Harvey Parry. In it he says Ron Yates, a Chicago Tribune editor, was researching Parry's life for a biography. Does anyone know if this ever came to fruition? I've done some searches at the usual sites and haven't been able to track it down.

It didn't. I think the deal may have fallen through with Harvey's death in 1985, but nothing ever came to print in either case.

Thanks, Richard. And it's too bad; it could have been a very interesting book.
