What a time machine. I've written over a dozen posts and tours explaining how more silent films were shot on Cahuenga south of Hollywood Blvd. than at any other spot in town. This early 1920 film has many, many scenes filmed on Cahuenga, including a full panoramic shot on Cahuenga between Selma and Sunset, and shots of the alleys used by Keaton, Houdini, Pickford, and Lloyd.

The movie includes scenes filmed at 3, 4, 6, and 8 in this 1921 view.

Do you know whether this film might be available in better definition? It is an incredible photographic record of early Hollywood.

Thank you so much for posting this Richard - cheers, John

I don't know if anyone else has put this out on DVD, I have a print of it. Sometimes we have to just take what we get.
