I've really enjoyed the new Blu-ray release of W. C. Fields and Louise Brooks in It's The Old Army Game (1926). There were so many details and locations that I ended up doing six posts about it.
The latest post covers Fields filming on 5th Ave in New York, where Lloyd and Keaton would later film.

I have three posts about Fields and Brooks running around the town square and train station in Ocala, Florida.

There's also a post about the messy picnic Fields and his family have on the El Mirasol Stotesbury estate in Palm Beach Florida. https://silentlocations.wordpress.com/2013/12/03/w-c-fields-in-palm-beach-its-the-old-army-game/
There's even a post about all of the March and April 1926 magazines appearing behind Brooks and Fields during the movie. https://silentlocations.wordpress.com/2018/06/29/its-the-old-army-game-w-c-fields-and-louise-brooks-bring-magazines-to-life/
Thanks for listening - cheers, John
