Surely not a 'belly laugh' film, nor meant to be. But one of the things that made that 70mm Bologna screening a few years ago unforgettable to me was the delightful shrieks of laughter from a little kid just a few rows away, from the very opening, while most of the audience was still, shall we say, adjusting. An acquired (delicious) taste, but the little one apparently 'got it.'
