I've actually liked a number of the late-30's Edgar Kennedy RKO comedies better as they went for something different than the "Average Man" Kennedy Family formula and frequently teamed Kennedy with Billy Franey, this is one of the gems from that period. released June 11, 1937, directed by Leslie Goodwins, and also featuring Vivian Oakland and Eddie Dunn:
