Laurel and Hardy Cookbook

Postby Bill Cassara » Wed Oct 21, 2009 3:21 am

Hi folks,
On behalf of the Sacramento (Sons of the Desert) tent, they have put together a fundraiser book called, "You Sure Know How To Plan a Meal." All proceeds go toward their hosting of the international Laurel and Hardy convention this June at Sacramento. You can obtain more information and details how to order by the below link.

I'm told there are more than 90 different recipes including the entire menu from "Our Relations." In retrospect I bet the publisher was scratching his head over my "Birthday Blues" surprise birthday cake ingrediants: rubber boot, mousetrap, soap, all tantamount to poison. Haven't seen the book yet, but I do know they will have "possom and yams," radiator rice pudding and Doh-nuts. Only ten bucks. BWOOWh

The book will also explain to never light the stove after the gas has been left on for over 10 minutes.
