I was looking in a Kalton Lahue book this morning, and a yellowed clipping fell out - Harry Langdon & Lita Chevret in a pose from THE BIG FLASH, used as advertising for Swift's Premium Beef Briskets. Forty-five years ago my Grandfather saw it in The Daily News and he clipped it for me. It's a cliché, but my memory of this seems like only yesterday. Next I located the complete ad online in The New York Daily News, included here as well.
