"Broadway" comic strips: Eddie Cantor

Postby Ed Watz » Wed Apr 01, 2020 12:59 pm

Eddie Cantor was the star attraction of the 1927 Ziegfeld Follies. In this edition, fellow comedian Andrew Tombes portrayed Florenz Ziegfeld and was a connecting link between various sketches. In these comic strips Tombes is wearing a silver-mane toupee and is dressed similarly to Ziegfeld's own sartorial style.
