Boy, I hope the Joseph Blough guy didn't fork out LOC digital transfer rates for this short, film collector Gary Lacher sold copies of this for years transferred from his Pathe' home sound-on-disc print. It is interesting to see it from a 35mm transfer.

The short did seem to be a one-off for Pathe', perhaps a pilot for a series? Who knows. Aubrey did a few more bits in some of the E, B. Derr-produced two-reelers, including a short solo bit in AMERICA OR BUST (1930) with Daphne Pollard where he plays a Scotsman who basically goes through the whole inventory of cheap-scotchman jokes one after another.
