L-R: Writer Paul Bern, Raymond Griffith, Director Dimitri Buchowetzki and Ben Lyon clown around on the set of Lily of the Dust (1924). Raymond Griffith could only speak in a hoarse whisper, so you can bet that the music didn't sound very good.

In 1926 he'd claimed to have flown over the north pole- it's disputed now - and in 1927 he was in the Transatlantic Air Race where he was beaten by Lindbergh.

A typo, perhaps? That's Ben Lyon on the right with his hands over his ears, no?
