Good God, they finally got one right!!
From the NFPF website, here's HIS TAKING WAYS , a 1926 Biff Comedy starring Al St. John and featuring Charles King and Lucille Hutton. Interesting to see Trem Carr's name on it as Producer, and the unbelievably happy thing, they've transferred it at 24 frames per second! :

Goodness gracious, the message finally got through! Donate some money to them folks, positive reinforcement always helps in these situations.

The husband acted very Charley Chase-like.

Nice comedy. Did Al St. John portray this characterization, costume and make-up in other comedies?
Glad to see this at 24fps too.

Wow; this is a really good one! Anyone who hasn't yet seen it should make time to crank the Tarbox tapes and watch it. (I think Al is channeling Keaton.)
