If you've never seen it, here it is, Directed by Lewis Milestone, and produced by the Research Council of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the United States Public Health Services in 1941, this short illustrates the horrors of venereal disease, especially in the then-days of no antibiotics, with a lot of familiar faces like J. Carroll Naish, Shepperd Strudwick, Tim Holt, Ward Bond, Samuel S. Hinds as the "good" VD doctor and of course, Edwin Maxwell as the "bad" VD Doctor.
This is the cleaned-up version for the short, generally what is around, but in the Roberts Collection there is an nice original print of the complete version, about five minutes longer, and featuring graphic depictions of each of the victims diseased members, which I'm sure belonged to others than Messr's Naish and Holt (not sure about Ward Bond). Believe me, you're not missing anything here:
