Even before Cal Worthington gave away his first Broc-A-Brella hat, the king of Los Angeles Car Dealers was Ralph Williams, whom California late show-watchers from the late 60's-early 70's will recall well. He actually started with Leon Ames Ford (yes, the actor also sold cars) and sold so well that he took over that lot and opened many others in Southern California. He was so well known he even made a cameo appearance on THE TONIGHT SHOW.
