Keeping in mind that Dumont was nearly 70 years old when she indulged in this bit of roughhouse with Buster. She was still capable of a perfectly unflappable performance with Groucho on The Hollywood Palace just days before her death in 1965. Maggie was the consummate comedienne - straightman, and only recently is being appreciated beyond her work with the Marx Brothers.
