Nitrateville Answer Dept: Keaton Radio Appearances

Nitratevile Nameless One JFK asked about some Buster Keaton radio appearances:

Here's the SHELL CHATEAU appearance:

I don't think the Fleishman's Yeast appearance survives sadly, because Rudy Vallee kept recordings of most of his radio broadcasts (and rehearsals as well)

Here's The Fleischmann's Yeast Hour for your listening pleasure. (And a far sight better than Shell Chateau!)

Fabulous! Two for Two! I'm glad it does survive, and I add this one to my collection. Thanks Chris!

My pleasure! But upon a re-listen, it's pretty obvious the whiskey's getting the better of Buster on the Rudy Vallee show.

You know, it is so typical over at Nitwitville that when someone asks about these shows over there, first, they can deliver nothing but misinformation, then when someone else actually DOES deliver these two shows, all they can do is whine that the quality offends their virgin ears. This is exactly the sort of internet idiocy that makes some of us less inclined to share any rarities with anyone these days.
