Sometime in 1916, the brains at Thanhouser's comedy branch Falstaff, paired Claude Cooper and Frank E. McNish in a series (of 8?) as Oscar and Conrad; in Dutch comic guise, gentler than Heinie and Louie, at least in this film THE GUIDERS

Starring Claude Cooper, Frank E. McNish and Louise Emerald Bates. You can spot Riley Chamberlin (small bald man) in the Elks Club sequence and I believe Billy Sullivan is the young man they tussle with at the end
