Can someone put a date on this photo? 191? Keystone 61?

Hello,

I have March 11 as the day but no year for this photo.

About 100 years ago someone put together a stereopticon slide presentation about the blight in Saginaw, MI. This is one of about 10-12 and shows the Bijou Theatre with a street advertizement out front.

To my eyes the street ad says "Keystone 61" or "Kentucky 61" on it.

Can anyone take a guess what this may actually say and what film it possibly is advertising?

I kept the two autos in the above photo. Perhaps they can point to a correct year.

The same picture uncropped. Everything but two of the buildings in the distance are gone.

Looks like it reads KENTUCKY to me, Darren, not Keystone.

And date the photo? I'd make a guess of between 1910 and 1915.

It's 1911. Billboard, 3/25/11, mentions the Oscar F. Cook Stock Company appearing in "Kentucky '61" at the Saginaw Bijou the week of March 12.

Thanks!

The Bijou was an important venue in the area's vaudeville and motion picture history.

Thanks again for putting a date to this!! :)
