Keaton's The Goat and Hard Luck at Westlake Park

Rare vintage (and once classified) photos from the National Archives provide stunning views of early Los Angeles landscapes. Travel back to where Buster Keaton flees Big Joe Roberts in The Goat (1921) at Westlake Park, before the park was divided in two, and re-named for Gen. MacArthur.


The corner behind them at 7th and Alvarado is now home to Langer’s Delicatessen
