Well sir (or madame), as you can see by the newspaper clipping I’ve located, it was taken at the Lakeside Country Club in October 1937 as part of a publicity series that was eventually published in the Los Angeles Times on November 10th of that year.
Perhaps the photo autographed by the three comedians was displayed at one time in Lakeside’s dining room...who knows?
