I suspect this is where Blackhawk culled their brief clip of GOODNESS GRACIOUS for that strange hodgepodge CAMEOS OF COMEDY. What I found frustrating "back in the day" about CAMEOS was that Blackhawk had access to an English-language reel two of THE BUTCHER BOY but decided to focus mostly on Buster Keaton's scenes. Since Keaton's major sequence is the molasses routine from reel one, there's precious little of Buster here in reel two, but plenty of high-quality slapstick from Roscoe Arbuckle and Al St. John. Image-wise, the Blackhawk footage on BUTCHER BOY was far superior to the duped foreign print that Rohauer was circulating.
