Okay, I know this has only tangentially anything to do with film comedy (hey, fire engines and fire fighters are utilized in silent and early sound comedy), but we are also interested in many other aspects of history, and this is a shoutout for a world-class museum we have here in Phoenix, AZ that we support that has unfortunately been closed for the coronavirus duration and is working to continue it's outreach into the community.

This is the Hall of Flame's new Youtube channel, which will be presenting looks at the Museum's collection with historical information and stories covering the actually very fascinating history of Fire Fighting in America and around the world, much of it told by my old friend Mark Moorhead, one of the Hall of Flame's Archivists and Historians. Hey, it's also something new and interesting for you to look at amongst our excursions into funny stuff while we all sit here in lockdown.
Here's a good little overview and look at the museum, a good place to start:

Give it a look, and feel free to spread the word on the channel to any social media outlets you might think would find it of interest.
